Sheila Crawley has set up a private Facebook group that anyone involved in social media on behalf of their u3a is welcome to join.

The East Midlands Support Team
The support team for East Midlands u3as is a small group of u3a members who support the Region by hosting events and workshops, encouraging shared learning and research projects, and offering practical guidance for new and established committees. We also keep members informed about regional developments, county network activity and the work of Council Representatives. Whether you’re discovering u3a for the first time or already part of a local group, the East Midlands Region is here to help you Learn, Laugh and Live alongside others across all our counties. More than 80 members from u3as across the East Midlands came together on 11 March for a lively regional workshop day at Braunstone Civic Centre. Alongside Allan Walmsley’s call for u3as to look ahead and stay relevant, members took part in practical workshops on attracting new members, developing activities, and motivating volunteers through confidence‑building and shared responsibilities.
