The first local workshop event for the u3a East Midlands Region in 2026 - 2027 has been announced. 

The date is fixed for Tuesday 13th October 2026 and the venue will be Ropsley Hall, Braceby Road, Grantham, NG33 4BN

The event will open with registration from 10am, with the Workshop starting at 10.30am, running until 2.30pm with a break for lunch.

Whilst free refreshments will be provided throughout the event, there is no on-site catering, so attendees are advised to bring their own packed lunch.

All u3a members in the Region are welcome to attend, with the content being of greatest relevance to committee members with responsibility for marketing and promoting their u3a, its events and activities.

More details about further local workshop events planned for March and April 2027 will appear on the EMR website when details are known. We are planning for them to take place at a suitable venue close to the Leicestershire/Northamptonshire border, and another close to the Derbyshire/Nottinghamshire border.
